Frontline: Diet Wars: Interview with Walter Willett, M.D.

Sheila and I watched a very interesting Frontline about diets last night. I think one of the most interesting and informative parts of the show was an interview with a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. He has conducted one of the only long-term studies that examines the connection between diet and health, and the interview provides a lot of information about the recent history of diets and such. Of course he discusses Atkins and other diets, so you may find it interesting. Be sure to check it out.

The New Addiction

Well, a few friends finally convinced me to play Final Fantasy XI. So far it isn't too bad, although I must say it's not the most intuitive interface. But what it lacks in user-friendliness it more than makes up in game content. I've hardly even seen the world and from what I've read it's HUGE. I also really like the job and abilities system. You can take on any sort of job you like and you can even become a craftsman and build items from raw materials. I've only just begun in the game, but so far it is quite good. I have to make sure to keep the spouse neglect to a minimum or she might take drastic measures.
