Graduation!!

Well, two years and eight months later and I've finally completed my MBA degree with http://www.nyit.edu/. Thanks a million to my family, friends, and coworkers! I could not have done it without all of you. I would also like to personally congratulate and thank each of the other MBA students from ADT/Tyco that have graduated: Steve, Mindy, Paul, Noel, Haydee, Nihar, Ann, Subash, Tony, Ranjit, and Sharad. Thanks so much to you guys and congratulations!! I'll post links to the photos as soon as they are available.

Skype

My cousin emailed me today and told me about a nifty instant messaging/voice chat program called Skype. Probably the major difference between this instant messenger and the millions of others, is that this one is peer-to-peer. I spoke with him for a few minutes and it sounded great. You can do conference calls with up to 5 people. Check it out if you get the chance. If you want to call me, my username is jorge.sierra. By the way, it's all encrypted. (Wouldn't make much sense to make a p2p chat program insecure.)

Van Halen

Sheila bought me the "new" Van Halen album. It's a compilation of songs with both Dave and Sammy. It has a rather good mix of both. It also has three new tracks they recorded with Sammy. The new songs are pretty good. I can't wait for the concert next month!

Doom 3 is Here!

Finally Doom 3 has arrived! I picked up my copy at Walmart and have made my way to Alpha Labs Sector 3. It has certainly met my expectations and is quite the game. I'll have to see if maybe I can get some 5.1 surround going at home. From what I've read, it really enhances the experience further. I have not yet done any deathmatching, but I probably will soon.
