If you upgrade your blog to use the new customizable template layout, it presents you with the option to display an expandable/collapsable archive list. If you're still using a classic template, you won't be able to do it (unless you manually wrote the code for it, which could be difficult).

I am French and live in France. I made a blog for the children books I write.
I saw many helpful tricks on your blog, but there is one I need I cannot find :

You have lists with the symbol "►" in front, that becomes "▼" when you unscroll the list to see the sub-menus.
Could you please tell me how to do this ?

It sounds like you may have a tag that isn't closed somewhere (the </xyz> part is missing, where <xyz> is the tag). Check to make sure that the <span> has a corresponding </span> tag.

Jorge, thank you for your great hack. Unfortunately, when I insert it, just as with the Blogger hack, I get the same result. I do have the wonderful hide and seek comments, but now I only show one post on my page. Is there any way to keep the hide and seek and see again all my posts on the page?

Jorge, I am on blogspot.com and tried to use your hack for collapsible comments. I got the comments to work correctly, but now only one post shows on the page. To see more posts I have to click comments.

I can't figure out how to keep the advantage of the collapsible comments, and still show all the posts. This effect arrives only with replacing the last third of the code changes, at the bottom for itempage.

Hmm... Zorak, I think you probably could do it without peek-a-boo comments by still using the createCommentCookie and getCommentCookie functions. Try adding those two functions and add the JavaScript code between the BlogItemCommentsEnabled tags (ignore the href part for toggling). I think that might do the trick.

WOW! I used your hack, because a lot of people complained that they had to remember the number of comments since they last accessed the blog. They wanted to know if new comments were added to a certain post. And voila! your hack did what they wanted, and I'm waiting to hear their feedback about this hack.

Also, I am interested, as others have also mentioned, if there's a way to revert the chronological order of the comments, and have it from the newest to the oldest. I've read in one of the comments that someone has done it for the archives. However, can you tell us how to use it for the comments part?

I really appreciate your hack =)

Assign (i suppose) correctly the link to the comments, the code show (Be the first...bla bla bla)..but...if i click on a comments, don't open nothing. I can't add a new comment, ecc.
